With summer in full swing and temperatures rising across the country, pools are a welcoming oasis to cool off and relax with friends and family. These student housing swimming pools throughout the US give college students the chance to take a dip and enjoy some awesome features, poolside.
Where: Tucson, Arizona
Average June High Temperature: 100°F
Tucson has some of the hottest summer days in the US. Luckily, the residents of The Hub Tucson can attempt to stay cool on the 5,500 SF rooftop deck with panoramic views of the University of Arizona campus. The infinity edge pool is surrounded by a sundeck with lounge chairs and an over sized hot tub.

Louisiana is known for its hot and muggy summers. Having a pool isn’t as much a luxury as it is a necessity in the summer. Residents of the Sterling Burbank at LSU have one of the best pools in all of Louisiana to enjoy. The pool includes a lazy river and a water basketball court. Just in case it gets a little chilly, there is no need to worry as it is also heated.

Summers at the University of South Carolina-Columbia can be unbearable at times. Texas summers are known to be brutally hot, and Texas State University in San Marcos is no exception. The Capstone Cottages of San Marcos offer residences a lagoon shaped resort-style pool with a tanning ledge, water volleyball and basketball courts. Just in case you get thirsty, you can swim up to the covered cantina bar.

Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN is more known for its cold winters than hot summers. Even so, having a pool to cool off in the summer is a great amenity to have. Launch Social Living has an indoor pool that’s the perfect amenity all year round.

If you are staying at Arizona State University in the summer, you definitely need access to a pool. Regents on University offers its residents a resort-style swimming pool to try to escape the desert heat.

Summer temperatures in Philadelphia can feel much hotter than they actually are. Luckily, Drexel University students who live at evo Philly have one of the best pools to stay cool at in all of Philadelphia. The rooftop infinity pool with lounge areas has the best views of Center City.

College Station has plenty of apartments with a pool. Texas A&M students living at U Club Townhomes can swim in one of the nicest pools in town. The swimming pool area offers a large lounge area to take in the hot Texas sun.
