Great Places for Pet Lovers at Texas A&M University

At Texas A&M it seems that pets are just as common as people. In fact, I don’t think Post Oak Mall would exist without the ever so popular Puppy Store. Not only is it important to find place that accommodates your needs but your fur baby’s needs as well. Here’s a list of places that meet all those requirements and more!

Stadium View

This place takes the cake when it comes to comfortable living for both you and your pet! Stadium View offers both two and one bedroom style apartments with spacious floor plans. If you opt for the one bedroom, you and your pet can have the whole palace to yourselves, because let’s face it, sometimes pets make MUCH better roommates. Here’s the best part though, especially for you dog lovers. Stadium View offers an off leash dog park right on the property fully equipped with an agility course and everything. So here’s the skinny: Great prices, close to campus, a view of Kyle Field, and a pet paradise!

Meadows Point

Meadows point sits on a huge property with beautiful rolling green hills. There is plenty of room for you and your pup to play an intense game of fetch or your cat might enjoy the giant balcony and great window views. Additionally, Meadows Point is located right across the street from a city park with a great walking trail that circles a beautiful pond. As for the human perks, Meadows point is “all bills paid” meaning you don’t have to worry about utilities, water, cable or internet. If that’s not enticing enough, there are 3 bus stops located around the property making getting to campus a breeze!

Presidio Apartments

If you and your pet are looking for the ultimate luxury pad then look no further than the Presidio. There is plenty to do with a resort style pool, sand volleyball court, picnic area, and last but definitely not least… a drive in movie theatre!! When you’re tired from all those activities, stop by the Starbucks café for a pick me up or save yourself the effort of driving with the Presidio’s private shuttle. All this and pet friendly? Polo Club

The Polo Club offers a laid back cozy environment for you and your pet to call home. The location is absolutely perfect for both humans and pets being that it is walking distance to bars, restaurants, shopping and a great park! Take your dog for game of disk golf or and afternoon lunch at sonic by the park. After a full day, check out a movie from Polo Club’s media library and snuggle up with your fur baby. Polo Club is all bills paid and on the A&M bus route!
