Oh, Instagram! You’re great for so many reasons. Your copious amount of photos, videos, live broadcasts, and temporary stories make for hours upon hours of entertainment. But for some college students, Instagram isn’t always the cat’s pajamas. It can create a proverbial road block when it comes to achieving tasks in a timely manner, which—let’s face it—can be a challenge for any student who is burnt out after hours upon hours of studying.
But Instagram can be a fairly positive and advantageous tool if used correctly. It all depends on who you follow. You don’t have to dull your mind with endless meme accounts (even though a little “memeing” is extremely healthy, and you’ll even find a recommendation for one in this blog!) when there are so many useful profiles to follow on IG that can potentially help you with every aspect of your life. Whether it’s organization, food prep, or fitness, the list goes on and on. Here’s a list of our top 7 must-follow Instagram accounts for college students!

What You’ll Get on Your Feed: Hilarious Memes (What Else Could You Want?)
If there’s one thing that all college students love, it’s a good meme. We all need a good, hearty laugh every now and then, and while there is quite an oversaturation of meme accounts on Instagram, @beigecardigan has got to be one of our personal favorites. @beigecardigan, run by an NYC stylist named Jessica Anteby, who is the wife of Elliot Tebele’s @fuckjerry. The account was started as a low-key troll a few years ago when Anteby couldn’t seem to get Tebele off of his signature Instagram account. But it was a prank that turned into solid meme goal, featuring the most relatable, topical memes that will definitely make you crack, if not tear up after an uncontrollable bout of laughter. Whether you’re a current, former, or future college student, @beigecardigan’s posts always provide a little positive boost so you can refrain from curling up in a defeated fetal position.
