May Rental Highlights

James Madison University: At JMU, asking rents were unchanged for April for one ($646) and two bedroom ($877) units. Asking rents for three bedroom units saw an average decrease of $35, or 3.4% while four bedroom unit asking rents decreased slightly by $11, or 0.6%.

University of Delaware: Two bedroom units at UDEL were the only unit type to have an increase for April at $15, or 1.1%. One ($3 decrease), three ($178 decrease) and four bedroom ($271 decrease) unit types saw a decrease in asking rents as fewer premium units were available, leaving more affordable units available in April.

University of New Hampshire: Asking rents for all unit types at UNH remained flat in for April with only asking rents for two bedroom units increasing by $5, or 0.4%

Virginia Commonwealth University: One, two and three bedroom unit asking rents all increased slightly in April by less than 0.75%. Four bedroom units saw a jump of $202, or 12.2% as more premium units became available to rent.

Virginia Tech: At VT, asking rents remained stable from March to April. One, two and three bedroom units saw asking prices increase by $2 or less. Four bedroom units remained unchanged for April.
